Undertaking research based on your guidelines, and using various archival and database records, I conduct research, compile records and create a written Summary of Findings outlining what information was located, and making suggestions for further research.
My education (Hon. B. A., University of Toronto, M. A., McMaster University) provides me with a wealth of research experience, which is easily applied to genealogy. I have been doing genealogical research for others since 2002, and have worked on hundreds of projects, including many as a registered provider on GenealogyFreelancers.com, and on Ancestry.com’s former Expert Connect program. Since Expert Connect’s inception in 2009 to its termination in 2011, I completed over 140 projects for customers from around the world, and maintained a 5-star rating from my clients.
I have undertaken research projects that have helped people discover who their ancestors were, uncovered the truths behind family tales, and have helped to give people a greater understanding of their own family’s history.
I am a member in good standing of the Association of Professional Genealogists.
